Job Description :

JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse technicians ensuring staffing levels to meet business demands.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the physical demands analysis
  • Maintain a safe work environment and program, including compliance with environmental regulations
  • Supervise the warehouse function, i.e., manpower needs, parts inventory and distribution
  • Achieve financial objectives by establishing, communicating and monitoring the warehouse budget
  • Responsible for all warehouse processes and infrastructure, including the procurement of inventory, helping with sourcing objectives, supplier agreements and alliance development, along with all administrative tracking duties associated with purchasing and distribution of parts and assets.
  • Work with other department personnel to maximize effectiveness of business in meeting customer contracts
  • Implement company and corporate policy and initiatives
  • Maintain a 24-hour/7-day per week coverage, or equivalent schedule, including scheduling for vacations, sickness, etc.
  • Monitor delivery system of parts and assets to mines
  • Assist Sourcing Manager to develop strategies, goals and budget for warehouse functions
  • Conduct planned cycle count activities to achieve 98% accuracy of Inventory while adhering to guidelines set forth by the company/corporation
  • Accountable for supply chain initiative
  • Look for and implement continuous improvement
  • Research and resolve problems, discrepancies with requisitions, purchase orders, receiving issues and errors, invoices, corporate reports, etc.
  • Develop departmental staff and create the environment for their professional growth
  • Provide a work environment which supports employee engagement, involvement and empowerment within the company’s “guiding principles,” establishing clear expectations, setting standards, goals and objectives and holding people accountable
  • Develop relationships with peers conducive to superior performance and a union free work environment
  • Perform other assignments or projects as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive issues
  • Regular and predictable attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
