Job Description :

inMusic is looking for a digital commerce business leader with extensive eCommerce experience who has helped online businesses grow and acquire new customers through planning, executing, and managing digital business strategies. This individual will execute both the long-term digital strategy and ensure flawless delivery of day-to-day shopping experiences. This position reports directly to the CEO and requires the ability to execute the strategy with limited oversight.

  • Develop eCommerce strategy and business implementation plan for the inMusic eCommerce store
  • Create product and sales strategies for successful high growth sales trajectory
  • Work cross functionally with the marketing and operations team to create opportunities for cross promotion and upselling
  • Leverage business analytics and a strong understanding of financial metrics to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment to achieve growth and profitability of the eCommerce business
  • Collaborate with functional leaders and business managers to implement the eCommerce strategy
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Accountable for online sales revenue and profitability
  • Lead our store channels, including store performance and help ensure a great inMusic customer experience
  • Work with the product, marketing & creative teams to create winning content to support sales growth
  • Manage all aspects of the user experience continuously optimizing and refining to achieve top-line and bottom-line results

To Be Successful in this role, you will:

  • Be the voice of the digital customer
  • Be able to present complex data in engaging, clear, and simple ways to varied (and non-technical) audiences
  • Display an understanding of the digital retail market including what is influencing sector performance and defining customer expectations
  • Understand end-to-end eCommerce processes including content management, product attribution, and customer-facing functionality
  • Have a strong leadership style, with a history of delivering results in a complex fast environment
  • Understand our digital landscape better than anybody else, including the competition and trends
  • Have a history of demonstrating management-level foresight and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Have successfully executed in this space – you can take a goal, build the strategy, create the plan, and then go crush it
  • Roll up your sleeves and get the work done with limited resources
  • Thrive as a self-starter – you’re eager to make an impact and enjoy the freedom to build the process make it work


  • 3+ years’ experience implementing eCommerce strategy with an agency, consultancy, or brand
  • Experience in a leadership capacity required
  • Proven success in digital customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Experience managing multiple brands & audiences
  • Industry experience a plus
