Job Description :

Justin McClure Creative is looking for a full-time video editor to help our creative team. We are looking for a detail-oriented person to help on-set and in the office. You will work on projects from ideation to completion with various companies within multiple industries.

You must:

• Work with Creative Director and Director of Video Production to help with various video projects (interview, documentary, case study, promotional).
• Pull and organize selects from interview and B-roll footage
• Capture and edit visuals across all main products
• Create and animate text treatments and motion graphics
• Convert existing projects into various aspect ratios using Adobe -Premiere and Adobe After Effects for social campaigns
• Prepare and encode exports for digital platforms and social media
• Maintain digital archive as needed
• Identify problems, recommend solutions and/or resolve operational errors and equipment failures, and improve best practices

You have:

• 3+ years of experience as editor/producer with functional knowledge of 2D motion graphic design
• Solid understanding of the video production process
• Full knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software tools including: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to multitask within a deadline-driven environment and be productive under pressure with extreme attention to detail
• Strong ability to take direction with excellent follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
• Strong ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Experience working on a filming set (both on location and studio)
• Experience operating video cameras in a production or event setting
• Experience working with audio (both recording and editing)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
