Job Title: Treasury Analyst

Department: Ho-Chunk Corporate Services

Reports to: Director of Treasury

Location: Bellevue, NE or Winnebago, NE

Status: Exempt



This position contributes to company’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure to support its global operations through overseeing operational and strategic projects. As a member of the Treasury Department, the Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of the company’s treasury activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company, supporting the cash forecasting process, and providing financial analysis to prepare management level reporting.

Essential Functions

  • Support cash forecasting process
  • Contribute to the global cash management strategy
  • Evaluate new banking products and services
  • Analyze, review and consolidate all operational cash flow statements for the organization
  • Coordinate with management on investments and loans for short- and long-range financial plans
  • Become a liaison with financial institutions to ensure an efficient banking structure in support of the organization’s overall operations
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, bank/Treasury systems and bank cost information
  • Support Accounting Department with ACH and/or wire transfer requests
  • Complete monthly and quarterly reporting for upper management and financial institutions to include borrowing base analysis, capital expenditures and their relation to financial planning, and DSCR or net worth calculations
  • Document and maintain treasury policies and procedures for both Treasury Department use as well as company use
  • Request construction loan draws to include preparation and collection of lien waivers, preparation of title company required documents, and review construction invoices submitted for payment

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment with hybrid work schedule available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Experience

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years’ work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred
