Key responsibilities for this role include:
-
Maintain laboratory systems such as waste/solvent disposal, glassware cleaning and inventory control.

Perform routine support tasks such as solution and sample preparation (Component Lab).

Perform/assist in calibration of laboratory equipment.
-
Document activities and checks documentation of other laboratory personnel.

Assist in the investigation of aberrant results.

Perform tests and inspects various components, intermediates, and finished products (and stability samples fro Component Lab) as requested.

Attend training classes and seminars as required.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
-
Minimum of one year of experience is required. Associate’s degree with lab classes is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Must possess the ability to think critically, have troubleshooting skills and have solid communication and report writing skills.

Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.

Ability to withstand long periods of standing and sitting.
-
May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms. Sedentary lifting requirements. Respirator use when needed.

Normal office/laboratory environment.
