Job Description :

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Infrastructure, the Enterprise System Administrator II is responsible for but not limited to maintaining and programming computer system infrastructure. Active Directory, O365, Asset Management Tools, MFA Management, File and Print Servers, and related technology will be supported and deployed by the System Administrator. Improvement recommendations within this space should be evaluated and reviewed on a consistent basis to support a stable and reliable experience between multiple sites and various user group types. Technician maintains high level of independence supporting the enterprise through project assignments and daily support functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Provides technical and engineering expertise in the areas of systems-related project planning, design, and engineering of systems, including system performance management, security audit and remediation, and performs other related duties as assigned.

2. Monitors and support server and network environment for maximum performance and up time.

3. Ensures uninterrupted network connectivity to data center for all Summit facilities.

4. Implement recommended best practices for Microsoft systems both hosted and cloud based.

5. Research, reviews, and recommends hardware and software improvements.

6. Designs, develops and documents automation tasks using advanced skill in PowerShell, JavaScript and VBScript.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position prefers a bachelor’s degree. Will consider certifications and/or prior experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
