Job Description :

Responsible to oversee all general operations of assigned store, including, but not limited to, inventory, ordering, receiving and pricing, as well as other administrative responsibilities; oversee store location, departments and employees.

An additional hiring bonus is available for current Alaska Residents!


May be responsible for one or more of the following:

· Direct and coordinate store activities and departments

· Implement predetermined policies and procedures in conjunction with leadership and staff members

· Monitor vendors to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits

· Greet all customers in a professional, courteous and friendly manner

· Role model appropriate professional behavior and display a positive service demeanor

· Ensure all merchandise received from vendors is Inspected and accounted for

· Ensure merchandise is stored where appropriate and can be easily found

· Ensure that storage/store temperatures remain within proscribed parameters

· Effectively handle employee requests and/or complaints

· Effectively handle customer special orders and/or complaints

· Assist or fill in any and all floor positions in the store as needed

· Oversee management of the team, including identification of staffing needs, staff recruitment and hiring, performance assessments, and other personnel matters related to the team

· Creates sales budget for the store

· Creates labor budget for the stores

· Handles HR issues from all managers and all hourly employees

· Creates expense report for owners

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus)

· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience handling job duties comparable to those outlined above

· Demonstrated knowledge of basic management principles involved in planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, production, and coordination of resources

· Basic knowledge of store economics and budgeting

· Basic knowledge of employment law and risk mitigation strategies

· Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills

· Excellent management and organizational skills

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams

· Ability to travel as required

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Problem solving skills as well as judgment and decision-making skills

· Demonstrated ethical, honest and reliable behavior

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is based in a retail environment and involves the routine use of telephone, computer, and scanner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
