Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced CPA to join our team!

You will play a vital role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting. We are a large Rheumatology practice of 12 physicians, with 4 locations, infusion suites, radiology and research department. The position will initially start as 2-3 days and progress to 4 days (full work week).

Job Duties

• Bookkeeping, auditing and budgeting procedures
• Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical)

• Analyze transactions and prepare reports
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments

• Assist management with forecast revenue, budget expenses, and other projections
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Brief senior managers and Partners regularly on the company’s financial status
• Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
• Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly
• Keep company financial information confidential
• Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations

Requirements & Skills

• Prior experience as CPA or Senior Accountant
• GAAP knowledge
• Treasury & Controller
• Prior medical practice accounting experience preferred
• Quickbooks, Excel, experience required, Simplify a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification
