JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Sales Associate Department: General Store

Reports To: Store Manager

General Summary of Duties
The purpose of this job is to provide a bright, friendly atmosphere with associates assisting our members with superior product knowledge and bright smiles. The Customer is Always Right

Typical Physical/Mental Demands

Requires mobility and standing. Very little heavy lifting is involved but applicants should feel comfortable with up to 50lbs. Light maintenance only.

• Understands the importance of inventory control and accuracy
• Eagerly learns about the products to better help the customer
• Learns store procedures and maintains them.

• Maintains a well-groomed appearance, clean and professional.
• Performs all reasonable duties requested by management
• Maintains overall knowledge of the Club and provide proactive assistance to members when appropriate using clear and concise conversation
• Follow and enforce health, welfare, and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests and fellow team members.
• Maintain a neat and clean workspace and store.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
