Responsibilities


Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for a MS Sr. SharePoint Developer to support the National Institutes of Health. You will deliver custom solutions to support modernization and automation efforts for a globally recognized research organization and migration efforts from SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online. You will work closely with the Technical Manager, Agile Project Management Team, and Business Process Improvement experts.


Qualifications


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing MS SharePoint applications to support automating existing business processes, developing new and maintaining
  • existing sites, content, and resources to include extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement new scalable web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#
  • Work closely with end users and Business Process Improvement experts to develop, validate and document website and application requirements
  • Support Agile PM processes for planning and prioritizing development tasks
  • Provide monitoring and issue resolution support the Help Desk Support Team
  • Interact directly with clients and the Guidehouse delivery team to ensure customer success to include training to staff and customers
Required:
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer to include both on-premise and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer to include creating custom workflow solutions, and PowerApps / Power Automate (M365 Suite of Products)
  • Experience in migrating from SP 2016 to SPO leveraging ShareGate
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
  • Experience developing & deploying business applications using custom SharePoint solutions or leveraging out-of-the-box features and functionalities
  • Core Skills: SPD, HTML, C#, SQL, .Net, CSS, JQuery, Javascript, Rest API, PowerApps, Power BI, & Power Automate (formally known as Flow)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of web parts, permissions, site collections, lists, libraries, apps, modern pages, custom search, managed metadata
Preferred:
  • Experience with public sector clients preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodology

  • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
  • Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience and location. Selected candidate must be local and able to work from one of the following offices: Tysons, VA (HQ); Washington DC as needed. Client meetings may be required in-person.
  • This is an exempt level role that may require more than 40 hours of work per week.
  • Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.
