Job Description :

We are searching for experienced Marketing & Events Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of marketing or event planning experience to join our growing team. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits offered to eligible employees (see below). Please do not send your resume if you do not have 2 years of marketing or event planning experience. This is NOT a private events/banquets or front of house position (although service industry skills are a plus). This position will be required to sign a non-compete. This role is a full-time position & no freelance or outside work will be allowed.

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is the face and voice of our company and should be included in all matters which are customer-facing. Community leadership and participation (on-site and off-site) are integral to a Marketing & Events Coordinator’s success. An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way that will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected customers.

This positon is responsible for both our ViewHouse and My Neighbor Felix brands in Colordao Springs.

Responsibilities of the Marketing & Events Coordinator:

  • Assist in the development of relevant and innovative marketing events to reach the company’s target customers for all marketing holidays including (but not limited to): New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, Sporting & Athletic Events, Food Holidays, etc.
  • Manage and execute all marketing events. This includes creating marketing agendas and production sheets for managers, chefs, and in-house team, attending weekly marketing meetings with Marketing Director, Vice President, and General Managers, leading pre-shifts and all staff meetings with servers and bartenders, being the liaison from corporate office to managers and staff.
  • Responsible for coordinating and purchasing all event decor, products, and retail.
  • Manage off-site grassroots marketing to promote brand and events.
  • Create neighborhood and local business programs with apartments, hotels, local businesses, and organizations.
  • Become an advocate for the company in local organizations, partnerships, off-site events, and grassroot promotion.
  • Monitor trends in event planning, marketing, restaurant tools, design, and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional, grassroots, and digital marketing.
  • Marketing or Hospitality degrees welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Experience executing marketing events from start to finish.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written format.
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
  • Practices superior time management.
  • Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary.
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
  • Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
