The Quality Specialist has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Instrumentation, Process Automation Measurement & Analytics (PAMA) ensuring and controlling quality to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations and representing the customer’s voice within local teams, providing customer experience feedback and input. You will be responsible to coordinate customer complaints (CCRP) and Warranty/Returns/Repairs. Assist to develop and implement measures to ensure customer satisfaction.

Quality & Safety Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily tasks associated with CCRPs, Warranties and Customer Returns across all product lines
  • Create daily CCRP report and lead daily meeting
  • Report monthly metrics associated with CCRPs, Warranties and Customer Returns
  • Collaborate with other departments including Sales Operations, Production Scheduling, Production, Engineering and R&D (Research and Development) to ensure customer issues are addressed promptly
  • Provide technical advice in a specific quality assurance technology field such as nondestructive testing, metrology, statistical techniques, fabrication techniques, quality codes and regulations
  • Train personnel on how to use CCRP

Your background

  • Associate Degree in technical field and minimum 2 years related experience OR High School diploma and minimum 5 years of experience in a quality, technical service or customer service role
  • Alternately, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
  • Technical knowledge of measurement and analytical devices used in oil and gas applications
  • SAP or other ERP systems
  • General understanding of creating or processing Purchase Orders and Return Authorizations
  • General database use
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
