In your Manager, Internal Communications role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.

In this role you will join the Enterprise Communications team and report to Associate Director of Enterprise Communications.

As a member of the Global Communications team, the Manager, Internal Communications is instrumental in creating and implementing detailed, strategic communications plans that support and promote Kimberly-Clark’s strategy, business objectives, culture and purpose. This role will drive much of the day-to-day execution of global internal communications, including the approval and distribution of employee communications.

Your Role

This role will support Global Communications initiatives through the development and execution of detailed communications plans. This role is responsible for managing push communication employee emails. This role is responsible for partnering with the Global Content and Channels team to develop and distribute content in a clear and compelling way for global audiences. This individual is also responsible for identifying and tracking key metrics for employee communications and making recommendations to improve future communications.

This role will work closely with the Associate Director of Enterprise Communications on initiatives that support enterprise priorities. This individual must effectively build relationships and partner with the Global Communications Team to deliver communications plans that support enterprise objectives. This individual will partner closely with the Global Content Specialist, the Global Creative Specialist, and the Global Digital Specialist in execution of communications plans. This role will be flexible to adapt and contribute to evolving priorities of the Global Communications Team.

Your Responsibilities

Communications Planning & Project Management

  • Develop, implement, manage, and track communications plans for key Global Corporate Communications initiatives
  • Contribute to planning and execution of enterprise meetings and events, including Global Leadership meeting
  • Partner within Global Communications and teams beyond to ensure cohesive, integrated and efficient planning and execution
  • Develop metrics that determine success of communications plans and tactics

Employee Communications

  • Develop content, key messages, scripts, etc. for internal audiences, strategic communications plans and on behalf of senior leaders that reinforce enterprise priorities; Own and manage access to employee communication email
  • Partner with HR and DTS on managing employee distribution lists, including access to these lists

Enterprise Priority Communications

  • Drives efforts to share updates and progress on Kimberly-Clark’s enterprise priorities, including quarterly global town halls and earnings communications
  • Work with Global Communications team members to identify opportunities to support ongoing awareness, understanding and engagement among global audiences on Kimberly-Clark’s priorities, including enterprise strategy progress, culture, and purpose

Global Communications Processes & Resources

  • Partner closely with Global Communications leaders to create guidelines to identify initiatives for communications planning
  • Partner closely with Global Communications leaders to create protocols and processes for sending large-scale employee email communications; Train others across organization on communications planning process

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Communications or Employee Communications; and in communications planning
  • Experience communicating with large employee groups in matrixed organizations
  • Experience creating and presenting creative concepts and ideas
  • Ability to effectively build relationships and communicate with all employee levels
  • Experience analyzing communications data to understand audiences
  • Expertise in creating strategic, detailed communications plans
  • Expertise in managing large-scale employee communications, including distribution
