Job Description :

Summary: The IT Support Technician will provide support of the IT environment by troubleshooting, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions across a LAN/WAN for a diverse company. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for helping support the PCs, software, printers, network components, cellular and VoIP phone system. Tasks include end user support, PC maintenance, hardware and software troubleshooting and repair

Requirements:

• Requires 2 years of IT experience or 2 years of education in the IT field.
• Advanced understanding of PC hardware and Windows operating systems.
• Solid customer service mindset needed along with excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides hardware/software technical support to develop and maintain computer operations.

• Administers and documents issues using help desk tracking system.

• Implements new hardware, software and mobile devices.

• Insures optimal operation of computers, printers, scanners, VoIP and mobile

• Maintain inventory of all hardware and software.

• Assists in network planning, design, and installation to ensure effective network development.

• Provides recommendations on changes to network, hardware, and software configurations.

• Stays current with new technologies and provides input regarding technologies that will help business systems achieve maximum efficiency.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Scale: $24.50 – $26.00/hr
Salary Non-Exempt Position, overtime eligible
