Job Description :

This is intended to be a full time position.
Annual Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS), such as human capital management application, timekeeping software, learning management system, document management software and other aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to maintain and enhance the overall system usage and value to HR, Training and Payroll.
  • Provide on-the-job and formal training to human resource data system users.
  • Ensure information integrity, testing updates and improving process efficiencies.
  • Perform audits on system processes and documents.
  • Work in collaboration with the functional users and use technical resources to design new processes that will be able to satisfy the desired requirements of HR, Training and Payroll.
  • Be actively involved in various phases of human resource information systems life cycles, including but not limited to, reporting (scheduled and adhoc), testing, training and supporting, optimizing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient HRIS management
  • Be involved in tracking, identifying, monitoring, and communicating the issues related to systems use and closely tracking the contingencies that have occurred during the entire course of the incident.
  • Ensure all data is secure and backed up regularly, according to retention policies.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Periodic vendor contact related to problem resolution and new product evaluations, including asset negotiation.
  • Collect and maintain technical documentation for all human resource information systems and usage.
  • Continuously update security concepts and technical skills to keep current with changes relating to human resource information systems architecture and design.
  • Develop ongoing relationships with internal customers to enable the users to successfully carry out their tasks.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Provides timely and accurate assistance to users and achieves user service goals.
  • Able to implement and maintain applications which systemically manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Effectively participates as part of the team, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Ability to recognize and manage confidential and sensitive materials in a secure manner.
  • Achieves customer focus by delivering high quality, cost-effective service.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible industry experience with HRIS, Payroll and Talent Management systems.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, Payroll and Talent Management systems such as UKG (formerly UltiPro), Kronos, DocuWare, Cornerstone, Bridge, etc. a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft enterprise applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, SQL queries, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
  • Must be able to occasionally/frequently bend, squat and climb.
