Job Description :

Technology has never been more important for the Oregon State Legislature than it is today. Doing so, takes a team of dedicated, diverse, and hard-working professionals committed to customer service.

Information Services is recruiting for Session Technical Specialists to support their mission. This position also installs, configures, and troubleshoots hardware and software for desktop, notebook, personal tablets, and cell phones. Assistance is provided over the phone, via remote assistance software, and in-person desktop support.

Session Technical Specialists will work on a rotational schedule, splitting time between working from home, the Capitol Building, and other off-site buildings as needed. While working from home, personal, stable, and high-speed internet access will be required to perform the functions of this position. However, as with all Capitol employees, Technical Specialists may be required to report to the building within one hour.

This is a limited duration position beginning in mid-November and will end as the 2023 legislative session concludes (early to mid-July, 2023).
