Job Description :

Keller Lake Commons is an assisted living and memory care facility which offers exceptional cares and a best in class working environment. We’re a growing organization and looking for a Health Unit Coordinator/HUC to join out team.

Responsibilities for Health Unit Coordinator:

• Assist in scheduling Home Health Aides
• Partner with the nurses to perform administrative duties (ie: filing, charting, etc)
• Provide direct care to residents following the individual resident care plan
• Foster a homelike atmosphere throughout the residence
• Answers call lights in a prompt manner
• Maintains a clean, safe and orderly environment for residents
• Documents medication records and ADL sheets in the resident chart
• Treat each resident with respect and dignity while encouraging independence
• Help with cares as needed

Minimum Requirements for Health Unit Coordinator:

• Must be 18 or over.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment.
• Ability to exhibit professional behavior and attitudes.
