Job Description :

Naman Hotels, a leading owner and developer of hotels throughout the Carolinas, is seeking a General Manager for our Hampton Inn & Suites Orangeburg SC. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our management team. Naman currently has 20 hotels within its portfolio with 10 more hotels in development. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join us and be a part of our exponential growth.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel. The General Manager is responsible for establishing an award-winning service culture, driving revenue, and managing expenses to achieve forecasted profitability. The ideal candidate will be out-going individual who is very detail oriented and organized. The General Manager will oversee all departments including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance and sales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a Service Culture
  • All hiring, training and development of leadership team and team members
  • Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline according to Naman standards
  • Work with sales and revenue management to drive revenue
  • Inspect rooms and public areas daily
  • Manage all expenses including payroll, purchasing, etc
  • Representing the hotel and Naman Hotels to the local community

Requirements include

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a GM or AGM
  • Strong organizational and computer skills required
  • Ability to inspire associates and to create a culture of care and accountability
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Excellent leadership skills with hands-on, lead by example work style
  • Must be out-going and a proven self starter
  • Ability to implement all strategies set forth by brand and corporate team.
  • Deliver communication between corporate office and team members and facilitate tools for development and empowerment for our valued team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
