Job Description :

Equipment Technician – Multi Beam Mask Writer Equipment

In this newly created position, you will join our on-site service team where you will be provided on the job training to maintain state of the art high-tech multi beam mask writer equipment at our customer site in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will support installations and perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions to resolve persistent problems. This involves calibration of client tools, scheduling field service engineers, and preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of customer tools.

Essential Duties

Performs specific customer-site support such as installation, service, and repair of new high-tech multi beam mask writer equipment

Routinely tests and calibrates client tools to optimize output

Performs preventive and unscheduled maintenance as necessary to maximize up time

Consults with factory personnel to resolve complicated operational malfunctions

Maintains a professional relationship with customers by addressing and resolving instrument performance issues in a timely manner

Develops action plans for customer review as necessary

Communicates recurring and unresolved issues to appropriate management personnel and trains customers as necessary

Attends customer meetings and serves as the interface between the customer and the Service Division

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering; plus, five or more years vacuum system, mask writer, e-beam lithography, semiconductor equipment, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The position requires hands-on experience with installation and repair of equipment, knowledge of vacuum systems, electronics, or mechanics.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional service orientation, troubleshooting ability, and experience with Unix based operating systems.
