Position Summary:

The Superintendent is responsible for managing all job site operations with quality and integrity on the projects assigned to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. The Superintendent directly supervises the field labor force, including laborers/craft workers. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and customer service skills.

Goal oriented and can react quickly to challenging circumstances to achieve desired results.

Essential Functions:

· Lead by example in championing Freedom Industries Mission Statement and Core Values in daily duties.

· Model, communicate and enforce Safety Management Processes/Policies.

· Direct, train, supervise, evaluate, schedule, motivate, communicate with, lead, develop and discipline direct reports.

· Directly Responsible for positive jobsite morale, culture, and engagement.

· Identify and evaluate possible areas for cost savings in both the estimate and project execution phases.

· Effectively plan and lay out work for maximum efficiency and productivity.

· Direct day to day on site supervision of labor force including foremen, subcontractors, and all related personnel.

· Confronts difficult situations and manages them to a successful conclusion.

· Well versed in contractual scope and obligations.

· Thorough knowledge of code compliance and regulations.

· Maintain great relationships with internal and external customers, including representatives of customers.

· Manage a look ahead no less than three weeks to proactively identify issues and facilitate solutions.

· Maintain appropriate documentation (Timecards, COE, Look Ahead, As-Builts, Closeout, Corrective Counseling, Tool Transfer, etc.).

· Support training and education to support field foremen and tradesmen.

· Competent Computer Experience (Microsoft Suite, Tablet, Bluebeam, Scheduling Software, etc.)

· Manage COE per SOP (Inventory, Monthly Audits, Cleanliness, Inspections & Maintenance, etc.)

· Utilize Phase Codes and accurately charge all job cost.

· Managing rental equipment effectively. Calling off unneeded rentals and coordinating for future needs.

· Understand the complete scope of the project and identify all additional work that is out of scope. (Per C.O. SOP)

· Champion of all organization SOP’s. Learn, ask questions, teach others, lead.

· Adherence to Freedoms/Clients QAQC Manual.

· Other duties as assigned by Division Manager.

Experience/Education/Other Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Trade License is a plus.

· Skilled in the Trades on an Industrial level required.

· Experience managing people within projects.

· Strong ability to read, interpret and explain drawings and specifications.

· Must have and keep a valid and in good standing NC driver’s license

· Must have a clear background that will allow you on to client sites.

· Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job listed below:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
