Job Description :

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with customers and providing a high response level to any questions or concerns from the customer. Adhere to and help enforce the Programmed Cleaning’s company policy, as well as, interact productively and positively with all staff. Required to work 40-50 hours or as needed on a call-in basis. The District Manager must also handle insurance, legal, expenses and correspondences directly related to adhering to district financial goals through monitor and overseeing labor costs, as well as, other expenses related to accounts. The District manager also helps support the cleaning staff in the field with any requests. *** Annual salary start at $52,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operations: Ensure Company standards are met in compliance with cleaning operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within the specified budget of labor and expense.
  • Policy: Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established company policies with the cleaning staff.
  • Customer Relations: Contact (when necessary) customers to ensure services meet the customer contract requirements to ensure customer retention. Conduct monthly or as needed building inspections to assure high quality.
  • Personnel: Understand and use proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with employee and supervisory personnel with positive resolution. Work closely with HR to achieve optimal performance from employees in regards to training, workers compensation, recruiting, disciplinary action, etc. Coach, develop, motivate and train employees. Provide employees with proper supplies and equipment needed to do their job. Assist with conducting and organizing employee training programs. Ensure employees perform all cleaning functions. As necessary, function in a general cleaning role to ensure work is completed.
  • Hiring: Work with Human Resources to make sure personnel are hired in order to operate business within area of direct responsibility.
  • Supervision: Utilize leadership skills and motivational techniques in order to maximize team member productivity and satisfaction. Perform disciplinary action as needed.
  • Training: Have thorough knowledge and experience with cleaning services in order to train employees and verify the quality of services.
  • Staffing/Financial: Maintain business in line with financial goals by managing job budgets and costs associated to area of direct responsibility. Responsible for the financial success of the accounts/territory.

Maintain and evaluate account activity summary as well as payroll and budget reports.Complete paperwork as needed and monitor and analyze payroll and budget reports. Actively sell services and products to current and prospective clients to increase revenue.

  • Safety: Ensure that company policy and all safety requirements are administered properly through Account, Managers, Supervisors, and/or Leads.
  • Correspondence: Keep the General Manager and Human Resources advised of problems; also, being punctual in returning all correspondence and messages.
  • Operations Meetings: Provide the General Manager updates on operations, sales opportunities, staffing, etc.
  • Other job duties may be assigned based on customer or management discretion. Long hours sometimes required; however, generally work 45-50 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Previous Supervisory experience required
  • Must be available for on-call assignments
  • Some computer skills are needed
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excell, Outlook)
  • Must be able to stand or walk during entire shift to accomplish tasks. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 25lbs. frequently and up to 50lbs. occasionally
  • Valid Driver’s License is required for travel
