The Content Manager is responsible for the entire speaker and content life-cycle for their respective events & for the content of our online platform ‘Quartz Network’. They will be responsible for working with senior-level professionals from leading fortune 1000 companies to cultivate and maintain relationships for our steering committee, speaker programs and online host network.

The main goal is to enhance each summit by:

  • Establishing and delivering key conference themes relevant to industry and audience
  • Acquiring and engaging with high-level steering committee members
  • Cultivating and recruiting senior executives to speak within program needs
  • Recruiting past speaker and steering committee members to host online discussions for our online platform ‘Quartz Network’


  • Perform market research to gain a high-level understanding around specific information and business requirements relevant to your market(s)
  • Engage by phone and email with key industry figures (steering committee) to finalize key themes and topics
  • This role requires heavy phone call outreach. Must be comfortable leading calls with C-level executives and cold-calling.
  • Development of coherent, benefits driven copy – outlining the proposed presentations and content of the program being developed
  • Develop a contact list of potential presenters and thought-leaders appropriate for the program being developed
  • Identify, recruit and confirm senior-level speakers capable of delivering high-quality content within program needs
  • Working with Conference Directors to ensure that the presenters meet the requirements to participate in the conference
  • Liaise with speakers to ensure attendance, set up schedule and be available to travel to the majority of events
  • Support the sponsorship opportunities for the events by passing off the names of potential clients to Conference Directors
  • Responsible for supporting Attendee Relations and Marketing to organize effective marketing promotions centered around the content

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Determination to meet production deadlines and deliver results
  • Excellent research skills
  • Comfortable with phone outreach/cold-calling for speaker recruitment (heavy phone outreach)
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Strong Editorial capacity
  • Strong copy and editing skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail is key in this role
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of the Marketing industry is a plus
  • Ability to travel and work on-site at respected summit(s)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $62,500.00 per year
