Position Description:

Responsible for providing LAN and desktop support. Processing service orders and troubles and escalating them if needed. Will assist System Administration with server work.

Job Duties:

  • Primary PC and LAN help desk support for employees
  • Assist Sys Admin with enterprise server and software support
  • Assist Network Engineers in installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining the network
  • Maintains systems support, and archiving procedures, performs daily server tape backups.
  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Documents and maintains the company’s software and computer hardware inventories
  • Keep current regarding new hardware/software products for system enhancements
  • Process Internet service orders and trouble tickets. Escalate as needed
  • Other special projects and duties, as assigned


  • Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of an Associates degree in computer science, information systems or other related areas
  • Five years of experience supporting desktop computers running Windows
  • Experience in local area network management and administration
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, network cabling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • Standard Driver’s License-Has and can maintain good driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screening

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
