Salary: $48,000/year

Scope of Position

• Build relationships with employers and community-based organizations in order to market the services available through the NCWorks NextGen Program

Essential Functions

• Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
• Maintain current knowledge of NCWorks and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act state and local guidelines and regulations
• Communicate with other departments and management to develop strategy and solutions
• Conduct community outreach events
• Schedule and conduct onsite presentations with organizations
• Responsible for weekly progress reports
• Manage marketing efforts
• Manage referral process
• Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Act as liaison between various departments to meet participant needs
• Coordinate services with GuilfordWorks Mobile Career Center as appropriate
• Identify bridge training, vocational training, and other support services
• Work closely with the Youth Advocates, Business Services Recruiter and Digital Skills Instructor to make sure that the labor market is adequately represented
• Report directly to Program Manager
• Represent NCWorks NextGen services to the employer community, host

roundtables, and monthly community-based organization meetings

Education and Experience Requirements

• Experience in business, sales, training, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a team-oriented environment
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office programs
• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts, or related

area
