Well established Mazak equipped Machine shop that specializes in precision machined components for aerospace, defense, medical and semiconductor applications. This job is in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Only experienced machinists with strong Milling and/or Mazak lathe/Integrex need to apply:

• Experience with Mazatrol language a plus.
• Experience with Mazak vertical machining centers, horizontal machining or Integrex required.
• Experience with Hass vertical mills is a plus
• Experience with Mastercam is a plus. Program editing experience is required.

Qualifications and Skills.

• Either a 2-year Machine Tool Associate Degree and 2-plus years on the job experience or 5-plus years of machining experience
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and sketches
• Applicant must have proven ability to set-up and operate one or a combination of CNC lathes per work instructions. Ability to do setups is critical
• Proficient knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, and indicators.
• Able to work independently or with a team
• Willing to work overtime hours when required
• Candidate must be dependable
• Must have good knowledge of tooling and speeds and feed
• Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
• Must be familiar with first article inspection and keeping quality throughout the job.
• Maintaining working environment, keeping area clean and organized
