Job Description :

Taylor & Lihn, a special needs planning, elder law, estate planning, and probate law firm, is recruiting for a full-time Director of Client Onboarding. This position is open due to an internal promotion within our firm! We are growing and looking for the newest member of our team who checks the following boxes: outgoing and personable, self-starter, strong attention to detail, phenomenal phone etiquette, multi-tasker with strong organizational skills, exceptional time management skills, excellent problem-solver, empathetic, and a driven individual. It also helps if you have a sense of humor. No resume will be accepted without a Cover Letter. We look forward to hearing from you!

About Us: We are relaxed, easy-going, and sometimes even humorous. We create high-level estate plans and help administer estates and trusts for clients we like and clients who like us. We take our work seriously, however, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’re known for top-shelf client service, accessibility, and providing peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones, not to mention being outstanding at what we do. Taylor & Lihn was recently recognized by Ranking Arizona for having one of the top-three law firm workplace cultures in Arizona and by AZ Big Media for being one of the Top 100 employers in Arizona.

About You: You are instantly likable and establish rapport effortlessly. You are comfortable speaking on the phone to potential new clients and feel confident in guiding them through the intake process. You are empathetic, warm, and up for the challenge of learning the ropes of the special needs planning and elder law world. You can easily juggle multiple priorities and handle interruptions.

You understand that a law firm handles confidential information and can abide by the ethical requirements of the position. You can take a project from start to finish with minimal supervision. You can handle frequent interruptions without an audible sigh, and you can smile politely as one of the partner attorneys asks you to reschedule a meeting for the third time. You can get excited about what we do because of the difference we make for our clients.

Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded, sophisticated professional, eager to please and put our potential new clients at ease! Prior sales or hospitality experience is required. Prior law office experience is not required. We will teach you the process for onboarding a new case and moving it through the firm, however, we can’t teach you how to be caring and empathetic to a potential new client calling our office for their legal matter. Show us you’re the perfect candidate by putting together a knock-our-socks-off cover letter and resume package.

The Director of Client Onboarding will work to ensure that our potential clients and current clients receive the highest level of service and satisfaction by ensuring they have a good experience and issues are handled efficiently and by the appropriate member of our Team. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position will be responsible for conducting initial intake telephone conversations with potential new clients; overseeing the process of documenting potential new clients in our system; transitioning new cases to the legal team; and following up with potential new clients and sometimes existing clients in a timely manner. You may also be tasked with participating as a witness or notary, greeting clients, scanning documents, maintaining the firm CRM database, preparing accompanying reports, and other duties as assigned.

Compensation depends upon experience/potential. We offer paid holidays, paid vacation time, health benefits, dental benefits, life insurance benefits, retirement plan/profit sharing plan, paid philanthropy days, team building events, paid birthday off, and free parking. Does this job have your name on it? If so, we look forward to hearing from you!
