The Data Solutions organization within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB)’s Securities Services group is a newly formed business offering best-in-class data solutions for our institutional clients.

Job Description:

The Securities Services Data team has embarked on a strategic initiative to offer value added data solutions to Asset Manager and Asset Owners across the world. This requires integration of financial data, market data as well as reference data managed internally, by clients, and/or by third party administrators of clients.

This role is for a Product Development Associate within the Securities Services Data team. The person in this role will be responsible to design and to manage development of Cash Transactions, Movements, and Balances data sets that will be offered to our clients through strategic distribution channels. The Cash data sets will require integration between data maintained in multiple systems of records, domestic as well as international. Complex business logic will have to be designed to uniquely identify a cash transaction globally and to resolve potential duplicate bookings in respective systems of records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define strategic model for Cash transactions and balances to support internal consumers as well as many external clients
  • Design of a Cash transactions spine services that defines an ID map linking one globally known transaction to its various representations in respective system of record
  • Define, enrich, and maintain accurate meta data along with definitions of each attribute that make up a Cash Account, transaction, position
  • Identify and manage implementation of Data Quality rules to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of data
  • Collaborate with Distribution teams to publish Cash data sets to the strategic Data Catalog


  • Prior experience in financial services with exposure to Cash as an asset class, transactions, and positions.
  • Prior experience in managing large scale Data Engineering initiatives for developing data products.
  • Prior experience as a Data Product manager
  • Prior experience implementing temporal features in data
  • Ability to profile, analyze and interpret data at scale
  • Conversant with Data Modeling tools and techniques
  • Results oriented. Focused on delivering outcomes and key results for business
  • Self-starter that takes initiative and has demonstrated effectiveness working with-in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Detail oriented, logical, and structured approach to planning and problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement Drive and risk & controls mindset.
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multitask and work under pressure.
