We are searching for a Business Operations Analyst to join us at PayPal on the Merchant Experience and Payment Solutions team. PayPal has experienced explosive growth over the past few years and as its customers have grown and expanded, so too have the complexities and interdependencies of PayPal’s product portfolio. The Product Business Operations team acts as the “connective tissue” linking all aspects of the organization together, and we are growing to support those needs.

You will contribute by functioning as a Business Operations Analyst, supporting the Chief Product Officer’s organization. You will also help with:

  • Linking cross-functional teams together to operate with a one-team mentality
  • Developing materials to facilitate cross-functional and cross-regional team discussions as well as communicate with senior management
  • Supporting team structure and headcount management including alignment to team’s overall budget
  • Partnering closely with PayPal PMO, HR, and Finance teams to create a symbiotic relationship based on trust and transparency
  • Creating product documentation to socialize and align key progress, next steps and drive decision making
  • Support with team culture and people related engagement activities

We are seeking a Business Operations analyst with a strong business orientation, the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams, and a strong focus on collaboration with counterparts within and across teams as you support initiatives which build on PayPal’s strong foundations, deliver measurable value to the company, and help it achieve its vision. What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of strong consulting, operations, or strategy experience preferred
  • Industry expertise in payments and / or technology preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail-oriented work
  • Ability to translate complex technical matters into terms understood by business professionals
  • Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills; able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner
  • Ability to articulate and manage KPIs using metrics to drive performance and provide data in support of key decisions
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint

Colorado Only : The pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary. All PayPal employees are shareholders in our Company, so equity is part of our total compensation plan. This role is also eligible for health insurance, stock purchase plans, retirement savings benefits, stock awards, life insurance and disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, parental leave, vacation and PTO.
