We seek a seasoned, energetic and highly motivated Business Analyst with a vision to lead, collaborate with our team and support our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate for this unique position must have a passion for analysis, leveraging data to make business more efficient and profitable. The successful candidate will have proficiency with business analysis across a variety of functions and have an eye for detail as small issues may lead to large complications for the overall health of a project or investment.

Position Focus:

  • Gather, analyze, and report data,
  • Collaborate and work closely with business leadership,
  • Ongoing periodic and ad hoc analysis across all functions of the CHG and Insulspan business units, interfacing with our marketing, sales, design, production and construction services teams in order to aid management in effecting continuous improvement from a perspective of “outside the function but inside the business”.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cost matrix and pricing models,
  • Measure the financial and operational performance of the business and report this information in ongoing reports to management,
  • Prepare reports and projections based on financial data generated by accounting,
  • Analysis of inventory costs and accuracy in the sub-ledger,
  • Provide monthly financial data forecasting support/analysis,
  • Calculate variances between actual and budgeted results, analyze variances
  • Develop and analyze productivity measures in each functional area of the business,
  • Buildout/update operational KPI measures – business unit level as well as departmental level that accurately measure relevant performance for use by managers,
  • Financial and operational reporting and exports (predictive modeling, scenario building, etc.),
  • Ongoing management and maintenance of customer contract documents/process,
  • Coordinate the creation of the annual budget, as well as testing it for achievability (“what if” analyses),
  • Analysis of business initiatives such as ROI on marketing programs, rebrand, or other strategic initiatives,
  • Capital expenditure analyses
  • Growth, partnering and strategic alliances analysis.

Skills, Knowledge and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an accounting, finance or business analyst or similar experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other analytical software programs, particularly Excel and database programs
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Confident demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to set, coordinate and accomplish multiple competing priorities, multitasking at a fast pace
  • Ability to work in a team environment
