This is a fully remote working role, located virtually within the US.

Your Impact as an Associate Digital Product Owner

Core Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sr. Digital Product Owner, the
Digital Product Owner will play a central role in the rollout of various digital products, starting with a consumer and agent facing platform that will empower policy holders to perform common tasks via a web based portal.

Associate Digital Product Owner will be the primary advocate for end-users and have ownership to lead a cross-functional team that will work with multiple business units and shared services to develop, test, measure, and continuously improve digital assets in partnership with stakeholders across the organization. This team will apply Agile, lean start-up methodology, and other innovation best-practices to anchor solution development with a shown understanding of user needs to accelerate speed-to-learning and successful launch. The person in this role will travel 20% of the time to the East Coast and Midwest as necessary.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise:

Required Experience:
  • Experience in digital product or platform development as the “voice of the user” by establishing a clear vision and communicating ‘the story’ effectively to key stakeholders from conceptualization and go-live, to troubleshooting and improvement
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams that include business partners, subject matter experts, product analysts, UX designers, IT architects, sales/marketing teams, and external technology partners
  • Demonstrated “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality and willingness to define, , and improve a backlog of product features based on well written user stories and clear acceptance criteria across a multi-phased sprint and release plan
  • Passion for user-driven design that considers detailed user difficulties & usability test results alongside market & industry research data to deliver a well-positioned functional product
  • Belief in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, visibility, and trust across the team with the ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs by telling a compelling story with sufficient gravitas to galvanize the team and make real-time decisions


  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum
The target salary range for this position is $80,000 – $105,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
