Job Summary

We are now accepting applications for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Assistant Property Manager for a busy family property in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

The qualified applicant should possess the following: (not all inclusive)

  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Demonstrating sound judgment and conduct
  • Positive communication skills
  • The ability to follow and understand Fair Housing Guidelines
  • Requires a positive attitude; must be energetic, friendly, sales-oriented, and able to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in computer use
  • Ability to implement and enforce company policies and operating procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in order to complete various reports on a timely basis.
  • Willingness to learn and succeed.

Some of the duties you will perform:

  • Answering the telephone in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Screening for new residents
  • Signing leases and performing move-outs
  • Rent collection and deposits
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Professional correspondence
  • HUD Section 8 multi-family compliance
  • Maintaining positive resident relations while enforcing the lease

As an Assistant Property Manager you are required to enter occupied units; therefore, employees are required to be honest and trustworthy with a satisfactory background.

Answer telephones

Greet applicants and residents in a kind, friendly manner

Provide EXCELLENT customer-service.

Interview applicants

Screen applicants

Handle lots of paperwork

Provide EXCELLENT customer-service (yes, I know I said this twice-this is really important)

Have the ability to change and adapt, as no one day is the same as the next.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
